DonDon Izakaya is a Japanese pub located in Toronto's Discovery District. The 150-seat restaurant opened to the public in January, 2012. It is one of a few Japanese Izakaya restaurants to have opened in Toronto following the success of Guu. The restaurant is on Dundas just west of Bay on the second floor. The space used to be occuped by One Up Lounge.

Owners Tony Wong and Anthony Phang of Sushi Time on Queen St. partnered up with Japanese Newspaper Bits editor Kazu Maruyama to open an alternative choice for diners looking for Izakaya food. The head chef is Daisuke Izutsu, who used to run Kaiseki Sakura located in the Church Wellesley Village.

One differentiators of DonDon Izakaya is that it will accept reservations and walk-ins, and has the capacity to offer private dining rooms for large parties. However, it appears recently (as of February 2012) the izakaya is taking reservations for groups of 6 or more.
