The Scarborough Hospital - Birchmount Campus

The Scarborough Hospital - Birchmount Campus is part of the Scarborough Hospital. In is located in north east Toronto in the suburb of Scarborough (Near Birchmount and Finch). It is the sister hospital of The Scarborough Hospital - General Division

The community hospital opened in 1985 as The Salvation Army Scarborough Grace Hospital. It voluntarily amalgamated with Scarborough General to form The Scarborough Hospital in 1998. The "Grace" name was dropped in October 2008 when The Salvation Army withdrew from hospital administration.

The hospital provides a diverse range of services:

  • General and Subspecialty Surgery, Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation

Visiting Hours

Regular visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. daily. Only two visitors per patient at a time are permitted. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Visiting hours may be extended for compassionate reasons.

Maternal Newborn and Child Care / Obstetrics has Visiting hours of 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. daily.
