The Toronto Zoo spans 287 hectares in Scarborough's Rouge Valley. With 10km of walking trials and 5000 animals, it is Canada's largest zoo.

Exhibits include the African Savanna, New Great Barrier Reef, and the award-winning Gorilla Rainforest.

In 2010 (May to Oct) the zoo will also be home to a special Stingray exhibit.

The Toronto Zoo has animals from all over the world spread across 710 acres so you’ll want to wear comfortable walking shoes. Located North of Highway 401 on Meadowvale Road, children 3 and younger are free and tickets for the rest of the family range from $13 to $23 this attraction is not one to be missed.
