Woodlot is a restaurant and bakery that opened in early 2011 offering food made only in its wood burning oven. All of its food is cooked using the oven. The restaurant is situated in a split-level space with the open-kitchen and the bar occupies a large portion of the first level. During dinner service, a long bench is set up on the first floor by the kitchen as additional seating. The upper level is the sit-down dining area.

The Woodlot operates as a cafe/bakery in the morning between 7:30am to 3:30pm and there is free wifi available. Dinner service begins at 5pm and runs until midnight. It is open everyday except Mondays. However the restaurant may close also for special functions as well.

The bakery is known for its use of a heritage variety of bread wheat called Red Fife. Another popular bakery item is the cinnamon roll which is often sold out.

The Woodlot is located at 293 Palmerston Ave. just south of College on the east side.
